DIGITISATION

Photographic digitisation of artworks, documents, paper objects as well as larger scale photography projects of museum collections.

Photogrammetry

Three-dimensional digital models of museum objects, created by photographing them from as many angles as possible. Photogrammetry is an excellent process to create interactive digital media or even physical 3d prints recreations of objects.

Both models are © The Board of Trustees of the Science Museum

Artwork Reproduction - Cross Polarisation

Cross-polarisation photography of artworks (especially glossy oil paintings) reduces the specular glare of the paint on the canvas, giving an excellent reproduction of the painting.

Large-Scale Digitisation

Facsimile Digitisation of Bottle Labels

Photography of dye bottle labels for facsimile reproduction - to achieve this, multiple images were taken of the labels, rotating the bottles and stitching the images together afterwards.

Digitisation - Image Restoration

Digital image restoration of scanned glass plate negatives. Dust and scratches have been manually removed, ensuring that existing image detail isn't destroyed; Tonal corrections have been made as well
